Comparison criteria

Goals

Each protein powder meets specific objectives: muscle gain, drying, performance.

Assimilation speed

The rate of assimilation of a protein corresponds to the speed at which this protein is broken down into amino acids and can reach the bloodstream.

The easier a protein is to break down, the faster it will be assimilated.

In other words, it's the time it takes for the protein to arrive in your body.

Presence in the body

The presence in the body or “assimilation time” of a protein corresponds to the time it takes the body to digest this protein. In other words, it is the time during which the protein is present in the body.

The data shown in the comparison table may vary from person to person.

Protein levels

The protein content indicated on the jars corresponds to the quantity of protein per 100 grams of product.

For example, 80% protein means that you will find 80 grams of protein in 100 grams of your product.

*Protein levels listed are for "plain" and "chocolate" flavors (for proteins that do not have the "plain" flavor)

Uses

Depending on their composition, protein powders should be taken at specific times to help you reach your goal.

Some are taken before or after training, others during or as a snack. Finally, some are best taken in the evening or in the morning.

Miscibility (foam)

Miscibility depends on the protein content. The higher the protein content, the more foamy and difficult to mix your shake will be.

This is particularly the case for whey isolate, which contains 90% protein. Discover our techniques for a foam-free shake here .

Types of proteins

There are two main types of proteins: whey and casein. All our whey is native, that is to say directly derived from cow's milk and not from cheese waste.

Whey can be hydrolyzed (for faster assimilation) or isolated (for a higher protein content).

Casein has the particularity of a very slow assimilation speed.

We also offer egg white protein.

Origin

All our proteins come from cow's milk (except Musclewhegg and Egg Protein which come from eggs).

Flavors

We offer different flavors to brighten up each of your shakers and your culinary preparations: vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, banana, choco-cookie...

Please note: Our products have a very particular taste.

We do not recommend them if you are a beginner.

Gainers

Gainers are mixtures of proteins and carbohydrates, to help the bodybuilder gain muscle mass. At Nutrimuscle, we offer two types of gainers: lean gainers for controlled muscle gain, and a hard gainer for effective mass gain. People with a fast metabolism are more likely to take a hard gainer, while on the contrary, a lean gainer is more appropriate for people with a slow metabolism.

Protein Blend

Our Protein Blends are Nutrimuscle exclusives, designed to help you achieve your goals. For each blend, we have combined the best products that work in combination to achieve a specific goal.
