Our gingerbread recipe

📝 Ingredients for a 12-piece gingerbread:

  • 300g buckwheat powder
  • 300g of honey
  • 20g gingerbread spices
  • 2 oranges
  • The zest of 1/2 orange
  • 1 tsp of baking soda

🥄 Preparation:

1- Preheat the oven to 180°C

2- Take the zest of 1/2 orange and squeeze the two oranges. Place everything in a saucepan and

bring to a boil. Add the honey and let simmer.

3- In a mixing bowl, mix the buckwheat with the spices and the bicarbonate.

4- Pour the still hot honey/orange mixture over the buckwheat and mix well.

5- Pour the dough into a cake mold and bake, reducing the oven temperature to 150°C.

6- Leave to cook for 50 minutes and allow to cool completely before unmolding.
