When should I take Nutrimuscle potassium citrate?

Throughout the day

In the morning, prepare a bottle of water with the Nutrimuscle potassium citrate for the day.

You can take it between meals and protein snacks, or during one of your meals. You can take your potassium citrate in one dose during the day. However, we recommend two intakes (one in the morning and one in the evening, for example) to promote the assimilation of potassium citrate.

During training

Put Nutrimuscle potassium citrate with (optional) dextrose or with maltodextrin + sucralose in your training bottle. Drink the solution in small sips throughout your workout.

How to take Nutrimuscle potassium citrate?

As with all supplements, it is advisable to start with a small dose of Nutrimuscle potassium citrate (1g), and progress slowly day to day if all goes well.
You can also enrich your water with potassium citrate, which you can drink in small sips throughout the day.

Interactions with other Nutrimuscle products

Synergies between supplements

Nutrimuscle potassium citrate can be combined with the following supplements without any problems:

  • Carbohydrates such as maltodextrindextrose, Waxy Maize or Nutrifibres
  • Organic oats or organic barley (flakes or powder), but the mixture may not taste very good. On the other hand, Nutrimuscle potassium bicarbonate may be consumed before or after cereals, provided that they are not mixed with milk or with protein
  • Sucralose: this sweetener can mask the salty taste of bicarbonate of soda without hindering its effectiveness
  • Creatine: this can be mixed in without any issues
  • L-Arginine: because its effect is also basifying.
