Description
What is glutamine?
Nutrimuscle glutamine is a glutamine concentrate. Glutamine is an amino acid belonging to the family of conditionally essential amino acids. Nutrimuscle glutamine intake compensates for the glutamine consumed by your muscles during exercise.
What are the benefits of glutamine?
Stimulated anabolism, minimised catabolism
The level of glutamine available in the muscles and the power of anabolism are closely related: the higher the level of glutamine, the more powerful the anabolism. Without glutamine, our muscles self-cannibalize to synthesise glutamine from BCAAs, which is counter-productive.
Supports the athlete's health
By nourishing your immune cells and digestive cells (intestinal permeability), Nutrimuscle glutamine prevents immune and digestive issues.

Nutrimuscle glutamine
Unlike many “low cost” glutamines which are made from human hair, Nutrimuscle glutamine does not contain animal or human substances.
Nutrimuscle glutamine is produced through a patented fermentation process from vegetable sugar. Thanks to exclusive purification techniques, the purity of Nutrimuscle glutamine reaches 99.5%, which is above the average pharmaceutical standard required of 98%. The remaining 0.5% are other amino acids.
While a lot of cheap glutamine comes from China, Nutrimuscle glutamine doesn't. Our glutamine is manufactured in a state-of-the-art HACCP and ISO9001 certified pharmaceutical facility in the United States. Nutrimuscle L-glutamine is not made from GMOs. It is manufactured without involving any GMO substance. Nutrimuscle glutamine has not undergone ionizing radiation treatments.
Nutrimuscle glutamine does not contain allergens such as extracts of gluten, soy, peanut, seafood, etc.

Usage tips
Who is L-glutamine for?
Nutrimuscle L-glutamine is for:
- Athletes, to reduce muscle wasting caused by intensive training
When should I take Nutrimuscle glutamine?
Between meals
Take 2 to 3 g of Nutrimuscle glutamine with your protein snacks ( whey protein or milk protein) every 3 hours in addition to meals in order to fill any anabolic gaps.
During a training session
BCAA consumption during exercise increases performance and delays fatigue. However, BCAAs tend to increase the production of ammonia, a type of metabolic waste that reduces their effectiveness. Consuming Nutrimuscle glutamine to counter this increase in ammonia allows BCAAs to be fully effective (1-2). Consuming these four amino acids also helps to minimise muscle catabolism.
After a training session
The addition of 2 to 3 g of Nutrimuscle glutamine to a carbohydrate drink (maltodextrin or dextrose) accelerates recovery after exertion by promoting glycogen storage, particularly in the liver.
In the evening and at night
In order to limit overnight proteolysis, take 6 capsules of Nutrimuscle glutamine just before bed.
If you wish, you can take 6 capsules of Nutrimuscle glutamine + 8 BCAA capsules in the middle of the night to ensure a positive nitrogen balance.
How do I take Nutrimuscle glutamine?
It is recommended that Nutrimuscle glutamine be taken with mineral water at room temperature.
Interactions with other Nutrimuscle products
Synergies between supplements
Nutrimuscle glutamine improves the assimilation of whey protein and powdered egg protein.
Adverse reactions between supplements
To avoid bloating, Nutrimuscle glutamine is not to be taken at the same time as potassium bicarbonate.

Purity of raw materials guaranteed
It's rare for consumers to have access to the names of the suppliers of the raw materials that go into the supplements they consume. However, this is essential to ensure product traceability.
At Nutrimuscle, we use only the highest quality glutamine, the quality of which is guaranteed by the Japanese leader in pharmaceutical biotechnology, BioKyowa Inc. BioKyowa Inc, which is HACCP and ISO9001 certified, has specialised in the production of pure amino acids for over 30 years.
What matters most to us is the quality of the raw materials, your health, and the results you achieve using our nutritional supplements. This quality is essential for amino acids such as Nutrimuscle L-glutamine, which is intended for frequent consumption (every day or even several times a day) in large quantities.
Benefits of L-glutamine Nutrimuscle in more detail
L-glutamine stimulates anabolism
There is a close correlation between the level of free glutamine in the muscles and the strength of anabolism. The higher the glutamine level in the muscles, the more powerful the anabolism. Without supplementation, regular training or a low-calorie diet will disrupt this mechanism.
L-glutamine minimises catabolism
Without an external supply of glutamine, our muscles self-cannibalise to synthesise glutamine from BCAAs. This catabolism is obviously counterproductive for the athlete.
L-glutamine promotes hormone production
Nutrimuscle L-glutamine promotes the production of hormones responsible for anabolism and fat loss such as growth hormone (GH). Taking 2 g of Nutrimuscle glutamine orally quadruples the natural secretion of GH.
L-glutamine maintains the acid-base balance of the blood
Very intense exercise, especially when combined with a low-calorie diet, generates a lot of lactic acid. This excess of acid increases the feeling of fatigue and degrades the muscular integrity. Nutrimuscle glutamine, by synthesising bicarbonate, fights against this acid and its harmful effects.
L-glutamine maintains the athlete's health
Intense effort and a low-calorie diet disturb the immune and digestive systems. Nutrimuscle glutamine, by nourishing the immune cells as well as the digestive cells (intestinal permeability), prevents these health problems.
Glutamine and protein synergy
One might expect that a high-protein diet would provide enough glutamine to meet the needs (4). This is not the case: our glutamine requirements increase in parallel with protein intake, due to the need to neutralise the acid generated by the amino acids. Nutrimuscle glutamine supplementation is therefore required.
Proteins contribute to the development and maintenance of muscle mass.
