Our Musclewhey chocolate protein bar recipe
📝 Ingredients for 6 bars:
◾ 120g creamy peanut butter
◾ 80g Musclewhey chocolate
◾ 30g agave syrup
◾ 40ml of vegetable milk
◾ 10g unsalted roasted peanuts
◾ 20g of 70% pastry chocolate
1- Mix the peanut butter, whey , agave syrup and vegetable milk until it forms a paste.
2- At this stage, the dough should resemble a huge hard caramel. Place the dough on a sheet of baking paper, and using a rolling pin, form a very symmetrical rectangle. Use your hands and the back of a knife to have straight edges and angles.
3- Add the previously chopped peanuts on top. Press lightly so that they adhere well to the dough.
4- Place the dough overnight in the fridge. This step is the most important to have a pleasant texture.
5- The next day, melt the chocolate in the microwave and cut your bars.
6- Using a teaspoon, pour small drizzles of melted chocolate onto the bars and leave to harden for 1 hour in the fridge.
Keeps for several days in the fridge.
