Recipe: Buckwheat flake banana bread

Want a different kind of banana bread? Try this version with buckwheat flakes and dark chocolate: a moist, flavorful dessert ready in less than 40 minutes.

Ingredients needed for a gourmet buckwheat banana bread:

  • 3 ripe bananas

  • 2 eggs

  • 80 g almond butter

  • 30 g agave syrup

  • 50 g flour (of your choice)

  • 120 g Nutrimuscle organic buckwheat flakes

  • ½ sachet of baking powder

  • 60 g dark chocolate chips

 

Step-by-step preparation:

  1. Mash two bananas with a fork and keep the third for decoration. Then incorporate the eggs, almond butter, and agave syrup. Mix well.

  2. Add the flour, baking powder, and buckwheat flakes. Add the chocolate chips and stir again.

  3. Transfer the batter to a loaf pan. Cut the remaining banana in half lengthwise and arrange it on top.

  4. Bake for about 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 °C.

  5. Let it cool slightly before enjoying your homemade banana bread!
