Persons with kidney problems should not consume more than 200 mg of vitamin C per day due to the risk of hyperoxalemia. Pregnant and breastfeeding women are invited to take the attachment of a healthcare professional before any supplementation. Not recommended for children and adolescents.

In some people, vitamin C produces a booster effect, much like caffeine. In this case, it is better to use it in the morning and/or before training.
