What the product does
What the product does
Better recovery and reduction in risk of injury
An intense sporting activity causes repeated muscle contractions, which generates increased production of free radicals by the body. These molecules attack cells, which leads to fatigue and poor recovery.
Even more serious, free radicals can cause inflammation of muscle tissues and joints, then increasing the risk of injuries related to sport.
Thanks to its antioxidant properties, astaxanthine helps protect cells against attacks by free radicals. Astaxanthine has antioxidant effects 500 times more powerful than vitamin E (1). In addition, astaxanthine also has beneficial anti-inflammatory effects (2-3).
This natural complement therefore allows the sportsman to maintain his performance:
- By attenuating muscle and joint inflammation,
- by promoting recovery,
- and by limiting the risk of injuries.
Endurance improvement
The aggressions of free radicals lead to a phenomenon called oxidative stress that damages muscle cells. This can cause inflammation leading to fatigue and muscle pain. The powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects of astaxanthine make it possible to limit this negative phenomenon and thus to improve the resistance to effort (4-5).
In addition astaxanthine improves muscle endurance by stimulating the metabolism of lipids, thus resulting in an increase in aerobic performance. (6)
Astaxanthine can be taken with citicolic to benefit from both beneficial effects on vision and concentration. Ideal for long activities carried out on computer (gaming, studies, graphics). This is why we have created the Focus Mix bringing together astaxanthine astareal®, citicolic cognizin® and natural caffeine.
astaxanthine can also be synergy with our multivitamins and our multi -vocals to increase the anti -effects anti -Oxidants.
