Recipe: Chocolate Musclewhey Protein Bar
Our chocolate Musclewhey protein bar recipe
📝 Ingredients for 6 bars:
◾ 120g of creamy peanut butter
◾ 80g of Musclewhey chocolate
◾ 30g of agave syrup
◾ 40ml of vegetable milk
◾ 10g roasted unsalted peanuts
◾ 20g of 70% pastry chocolate.
1- Mix the peanut butter, whey, agave syrup and vegetable milk until a paste is formed.
2- At this stage, the dough should look like a huge hard caramel. Place the dough on a sheet of baking paper, and using a rolling pin, form a symmetrical rectangle. Use your hands and the back of a knife to keep the edges and angles straight.
3- Add the previously chopped peanuts on top. Press lightly so that they adhere well to the dough.
4- Place the dough overnight in the fridge. This step is the most important to have a pleasant texture.
5- The next day, melt the chocolate in the microwave and cut your bars.
6- Using a teaspoon, pour small strands of melted chocolate on the bars and let harden for 1 hour in the fridge.
Keeps for several days in the fridge.
